A Beacon of Hope

Deep in the heart of our community, a cherished dream has quietly grown. It’s a vision of excellence in education, and a commitment to nurture our children’s spirits with the love of Jesus. And now, that dream is ready to unfold and the first of its kind in West Bengal, India.

Our school, where generations have begun their educational journey, is set to transform. We’re expanding to take our children up to Grade 8, and we’re creating something extraordinary in our village: The Life Center. This will be a beacon of educational excellence, a place where young minds flourish, and the love of Jesus shines brightly. With your support, this dream will become a reality, and together, we will shape a brighter future for our children.

Life Center Vision

“Our vision is to be a beacon of hope, offering renewal, freedom, and holistic support to impoverished communities. Through prayer, education, and strategic initiatives, we aim to transform lives and communities, guided by our faith in God. We’re building an all-inclusive cultural center, creating jobs, and expanding education to realize this vision.”

Shift In Culture

We have witnessed a significant transformation within our community over the past few years, particularly in the lives of the children who once roamed the streets without any clear sense of purpose or opportunity. Today, I observe these same children confidently dressed in pants, shirts, ties, and backpacks, symbolizing a noticeable shift in the cultural landscape of our community.”

A Short Walk for a Bright Future

What if your education stopped at grade 4? What if the hope of receiving education stopped due to no further grades? In response to a simple yet profound question – why must our students leave momentum school after grade 4, traveling 8 miles on their own to keep being educated? – the resounding answer was space, or rather, the lack thereof.

Our commitment to delivering quality education and community impact is hindered by our school’s inability to accommodate the growing number of students and families seeking enrollment, leading to high dropout rates due to the lack of accessible educational options beyond Grade 4. To bridge this gap and serve our community holistically, there is a pressing demand to expand our school to include Grade 8 and establish a multifaceted impact center focusing on education, Asha Girls, Clean Water, and all our programs.
