Momentum Global was born out of a reaction to the gritty work that Mahadeb Mondal was doing in the slums of Kolkata India. When John DeYoung experienced the transformative work that Mahadeb was doing in the lives of the children and families in the slums of Kolkata, he knew that God was calling him to work alongside his brother and bring Hope, Love and Freedom to the families.

Momentum Global provides education, food, medical support and develops sustainable community solutions for the families in Kolkata. Mahadeb Mondal and John DeYoung met in 2008 and began working together in the nonprofit world in 2014.
MOUNTAINS
In the short years working together to bring Hope to the Indian Families, Momentum Global has exponentially grown to more than 4 schools in the slums, and 2 schools in the villages, a football club, a women empowerment program, a community development program and to provide clean water to the communities. Momentum Global is dedicated to creating real sustainable solutions to transform communities in India.
